A Busy Time Ahead for Tutors
Enquiries are coming in from far and wide at the moment. Elaine, Ken and Tom will be working at Pakuranga College shortly, and Ken is joined by Richard and Russell at Puni in April. There's a buzz of interest around the month of June and once again Elaine, Ken and Russell will be kept busy. A great trip to Keri Keri for some members of the team at the end of August - a place has already been booked for Tom!

New Workshop News!
We have now been able to organise our new COMBAT & CONFLICT seminar and we are ready to take enquiries/bookings. This is a unique opportunity for high ability young people to focus on the major disputes in modern history that have directly affected the lives of their own wider families, both within New Zealand and across the world. The many faces of dissent are examined both within a historical context and via creative endeavour. The workshops culminate with a far reaching philosophical debate where the students share their own ideas and internalise the contributions of their peers.

Wow !
Interest is surely mounting. What a busy day today.
Here are the answers to some general queries ...
We are based in Auckland but that doesn't mean we are restricted to the Auckland area. We can come to you if your school is in another part of New Zealand but would need to add travel, accommodation and food costs + GST for three tutors. Happy to quote a price. As we are a not for profit trust then our charges are cost recovery only.
The school is charged for the costs and it is up to the school to decide how they will recover them. Some schools charge the students and some subsidise. Cost recovery is over to the school. We invoice the school for the agreed upon amount plus GST.
If the school is outside the Auckland area then it is possible to have an after school teacher professional development workshop or evening parent presentation during the three day seminar at a time that suits the school, provided free of charge. The school can then recover some of the costs of hosting the seminars by charging for this.
