Fourteen days to the start of New Zealand Gifted Awareness week.
A good time to start thinking about how we might best meet the learning needs of the children in your community who learn faster than most, make unexpected connections between concepts, find and solve problems and/or show a high degree of talent. Schools out of Auckland

We are now receiving an increasing number of enquiries from schools outside Auckland. We will be in Kerikeri soon, followed by Wellington later in the year.

Open Day Saturday 18th June

Elaine and Jean will be at Mt. Albert Presbyterian Church Hall on Saturday 18th June from 2 to 5 pm and will be available to answer all your questions about University on Wheels. If you would like the UoW Team to visit your school this year, come along and find out how it all works!

West Auckland

Our series of Monday Seminars at Summerland School start in August, and Jean will be contacting tutors this week with confirmation of dates, topics, etc.

Eastertide

Eastertide is upon us and by the time most of you read this, will have passed! We hope you all had plenty of good wishes and chocolate eggs. Bookings are coming in fast for terms 2 and 3 and after lots of discussion and debate, just as long as we have the dates available, we can now provide you with One Day Seminars. A Busy Time Ahead for Tutors

Enquiries are coming in from far and wide at the moment. Elaine, Ken and Tom will be working at Pakuranga College shortly, and Ken is joined by Richard and Russell at Puni in April. There's a buzz of interest around the month of June and once again Elaine, Ken and Russell will be kept busy. A great trip to Keri Keri for some members of the team at the end of August - a place has already been booked for Tom!
